The chapel is situated at 28 Russell Street in the heritage listed village of Evandale which is only FOUR minutes from Launceston airport and an easy fifteen minute drive from Launceston city centre and a few minutes from Launceston airport..
The chapel was built in 1836 by the Wesleyan community. It has also been a Druids hall and the local community hall. It has recently been totally refurbished and has all conveniences necessary for a comfortable stay including full kitchen, queen size bed, a sitting and dining area, TV, laundry facilities and an outside dining area also.
The whole property is yours and yours alone while you are staying. A home made breakfast pack is included in the tariff. This contains farm eggs, home made breads, jams, cereals, muffins, freshly ground coffee, tea, milk and lots more.
Entering the village of Evandale is like stepping back in time to the Victorian era.
The village has several places to eat, a great bakery and a couple of nice pubs.
Every Sunday the famous Evandale markets are held in the showgrounds, just a 200m walk from the Chapel. Treat yourself to a different experience.
